Family Law has always been Carolina's passion. She has a degree in Law and Political Science from La Gran Colombia University and a professional license to practice law in Colombia. She came to Canada in 2017 and since then has been working as a Legal Administrative Assistant in Family Law. She feels her job gives her the opportunity to expand her knowledge of Canadian law and do what she is passionate about. She is currently completing a certificate in Family Law mediation in the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
She has always had a passion for helping people, and is able to do that through her work in family law. In Colombia she volunteered with social work organizations and foundations in providing education and assistance to people in under-developed regions, specifically for less fortunate children. Foundations and organizations include Active 20 30 International, Pastoral Universitaria, and Unidos por La Guajira.
She has a strong and dedicated work ethic and is driven by the pursuit of knowledge and excellence. She is excited to apply her education and experience in her workplace and in our community.
